30 minutes before you wake up, dark blue hues gradually evolve into lighter hues that will gradually change to a warm white to block melatonin (the sleep hormone) and help you wake up naturally in the morning. How it works ?
Aloha uses blue light with scientifically defined wavelengths (480 - 500 nanometers) to gently wake you up. These blue light levels have direct effects on the secretion of melatonin (the sleep hormone) and on the level of alertness, allowing you to wake up at the best time of your sleep cycle, ideally even before the music of Aloha does not fire.
Why the red light ? The red light of sunset has always been a natural signal that triggers sleep in humans. ALOHA reproduces this signal using pure red wavelengths (658 nanometers). This light is scientifically defined so as not to block the secretion of melatonin, the sleep hormone, which occurs naturally in the body.
Cardiac coherence mode
Duration 15 min : the cardiac coherence mode combines red light and breathing exercise, to help you relax and fall asleep faster. This cardiac coherence mode was developed with specialists in sleep medicine and was clinically tested: 2 out of 3 users fall asleep in less than 15 minutes.
Sunset mode
Duration 20 minutes : orange tones transform into a warm red that helps you fall asleep naturally.
